This is a club for those who love the Adirondacks and for those who would like to know more about them.

If you know nothing about the Adirondacks, I'll start you off with a few of its many interesting facts. The Adirondacks are
a mountain range, a forest preserve, a state park in northen New York and home to about 130,000 year-round residents. In
size, it is as big as the state of Vermont, its neighbor to the east. About 43% of the area is owned by the state of New
York and is currently protected as "forever wild" by the constitution of the state. The balance is in private ownership,
a majority of which is owned by paper and lumber companies. To learn more, follow the links and read on.
